Full Lineup For WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable May 20

Owens vs. Zayn is the main event even though Zayn is hurt.

The next two hour NXT Takeover special will take place next Wednesday night May 20 at 8pmET from Full Sail University. Over the last few weeks of NXT shows, they have been announcing matches and now we know the full card although there will likely be changes to some of the matches. NXT Title: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn - This may not take place as scheduled because of Zayn's shoulder injury. During this week's NXT broadcast, they inserted recent footage of Zayn saying that his injury isn't going to stop him from facing Owens. Then NXT ended with a final confrontation between the two. If Zayn isn't cleared then they will have to change this match around and find a different match for Owens. If it does take place it will be awesome just like all their matches are. #1 Contender To NXT Title Match: Finn Balor vs. Tyler Breeze vs. Hideo Itami - It's another match with an injury to deal with. Itami is having shoulder surgery soon and will be out 6-8 months, so he won't be in the match. What they could do is have a Balor vs. Breeze match early in the show and then say the winner faces Owens in the main event. Since Balor is the face and Owens is a heel champion, it makes sense for Balor to win. NXT Women's Title: Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch - They were former allies. Now Banks is a selfish heel champion while Lynch is gaining popularity as a face. The match has been built up well. NXT Tag Team Title Match: Blake and Murphy vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass - There's been a long build for this one since the challengers have been top contenders for months now. The crowd loves Enzo and Cass as much as anybody in NXT. Good character development for the champs during this feud. Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno - Since Corbin went as far as he can go in the face role, it's smart to turn him heel. Rhyno is a credible opponent that will have a physical match with Corbin. Emma and Dana Brooke vs. Bayley and Charlotte - This was added during this week's show. It will be Brooke's first time on a Takeover show while Charlotte is likely going to be called up to WWE's main roster soon. Emma has done well as a heel. The Takeover: Unstoppable special doesn't have as strong of a card as the February event from earlier this year, but it's still pretty good. Every NXT special has been fun to watch. The injuries to Zayn and Itami are unfortunate and will hurt the quality of the card, but it's a talented roster where others will have to step up to fill the void.
