Bill Goldberg is definitely interested in a WrestleMania 31 match, reports the Wrestling Observer. On WWE's part they must offer him the right deal and money if they're to secure his long-awaited return. This was what stalled a Goldberg deal getting done for WrestleMania 30 as WWE weren't interested in offering him the kind of money that would get him out of his house. Despite having been away from the wrestling business for ten years, Goldberg still sees himself as a valuable brand and perhaps rightfully so as the recently released 'Goldberg' DVD proved by becoming the best selling WWE DVD of 2013. Keenly aware of this, WWE will be trying harder than ever to get the WCW icon back into the ring. Despite being 48 by the time of the next WrestleMania, the Observer comments that Goldberg is in tremendous shape. He trains daily at his Muay Thai Gym. It isn't as if the majority of his matches ever required the greatest stamina anyway, Goldberg was all about quick smashes. The fact that Goldberg hasn't been back to WWE in over a decade only increases his value. He can be used as a special attraction for Mania in the same way Rock or Hogan have been used in the past, a big name comeback who hasn't been seen for a while. Goldberg's interest is all down to the finances, it was at the money stage that previous talks with Triple H failed, WWE now have a year to get the right deal done and act on Goldberg's expressed interest in coming back.
