It looks like All Elite Wrestling may have canned the most controversial act on their roster, with recent signs pointing towards The Nightmare Collective's abandonment.

While nothing is official yet, Dave Meltzer notes in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter that recent patterns point towards the group and storyline being cancelled, with leader Brandi Rhodes reverting to her old self as she hit the ring to support husband Cody in Dynamite's 10 lashings segment this week.

This week's Dark also saw an angle featuring Mel and Dr. Luther beating Awesome Kong down after Mel's loss to Hikaru Shida. This was done to give Kong some time off to film the next season of GLOW, though it also looked like a clear split from the Collective.

Furthermore, the company shot a couple of vignettes that showed Brandi visiting a psychologist. The first of these went out on social media and the second was repeated on Dark, with Rhodes claiming she was cured as she walked out of the doctor's office.

This news will come as great relief to critics of the controversial segment which, along with The Dark Order, hasn't gotten over with viewers or live audiences.
