How Long Did AEW's 'Elite Deletion' Take To Film?
A long night ahead? WONDERFUL!
PWInsider's Elite subscription service has revealed exactly how long it took Matt Hardy, Sammy Guevara and others to film AEW's 'Elite Deletion' spectacle for Full Gear 2020.
According to the report, filming took between "9-10 hours" in total and happened approx one week before the pay-per-view aired. That's one hell of a long night, but everyone involved was determined to get things right and make sure they told a tangible (if absolutely wacky and out there) story.
'Elite Deletion' featured cameos from Santana, Ortiz, Private Party, Gangrel and The Hurricane. At one point, Matt and Sammy even waged war with fireworks as others battled inside the outdoor ring. Then, they took things indoors and Hardy scored the win by smashing Guevara with a steel chair as he lay prone on the floor.
AEW's producers managed to squeeze almost 20 minutes of useable footage out of the epic session.
