Huge Barbed Wire Death Match Set For AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest
Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston will meet in the barbaric bout with a twist...
Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston look to settle things once and for all on the upcoming Week 2 of AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest, with it being announced that the pair will meet in a barbed wire death match.
Last night saw Kingston overcome the threat of Konosuke Takeshita on AEW Rampage. And The Mad King would follow-up this win with a backstage warning to his great adversary before challenging him to the aforementioned barbaric bout due to The Wizard's recent villainous antics.
Sure enough, AEW were quick to announce that the match had been made official, with the two arch-enemies colliding on July 20. However, in a slight twist, in order to keep the Jericho Appreciation Society from getting involved, the Sports Entertainers will be held within a shark cage above the ring for the duration of the explosive contest.

Along with Jericho vs. Kingston, AEW also revealed that Serena Deeb would take on Anna Jay during Week 1 of Fyter Fest, with Christian Cage once again being handed a live mic as Luchasaurus returns to action.

- Anna Jay vs. Serena Deeb
- Luchasaurus will be in action and we will hear from Christian Cage
- Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jake Hager
- AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks defend in a Triple Or Nothing match vs. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland, and Powerhouse Hobbs and FTW Champion Ricky Starks
