Hulk Hogan has shared a picture of him pointing at Jinder Mahal on his official Instagram page. On the surface, it's a routine 'wrestler meets wrestler' kind of snap, but the caption is rather eye-opening and has fans talking on social media.

No stranger to sensational claims, the Hulkster said that current WWE worker Jinder "could be the new generation Hulk Hogan". Following up on that and doubling down, Hulk said Mahal marries "old school respect with new school physicality".

Finally, Hogan said that Jinder just needs "the right push". Hulk is at least five years too late on this - Mahal was pushed to the moon back in 2017. He defeated Randy Orton to win the WWE Title, but failed to convince in the lead heel role on SmackDown.

Since then, Jinder has taken time off to heal injuries and been steadily dropped down the pecking order. Now, he teams with Shanky and occasionally raps/gets involved in comedy skits.

The comments on that pic make for...interesting reading. Some fans couldn't believe that Hogan was endorsing Mahal, whereas others snatched the chance to wonder what might've been for Jinder's feud vs. old stablemate Drew McIntyre.
