Hulk Hogan To Appear At WWE Extreme Rules 2018?
Hogan is Hardcore! We've all seen that tape...
This is one which comes auto-condimented. That is to say, with more salt than the Dead Sea.
According to WrestleVotes' Twitter account, none other than Hulk Hogan is said to have been spotted on a flight into Cleveland, OH last night. WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view is scheduled for Pittsburgh, PA's PPG Paints Arena, and though it's in a different state, it's just two hours away from Cleveland's Hopkins Airport - close enough to spark rumours about a potential surprise appearance from The Hulkster.
We don't advise you hold your breath. A throwaway summer show doesn't seem like the best place to splurge a long-awaited Hogan comeback, and it's pretty difficult to deduce any scenario in which he fits. There isn't even any obvious confluence between Hogan and Pittsburgh, which is very much Sammartino country.
Furthermore, unless WWE were trying to keep the surprise under wraps by secreting Hogan to an airport way out of town - in which case, they've done a pretty shoddy job - it doesn't make any sort of sense that he wouldn't fly into Pittsburgh International, situated just 25 minutes away from the show's venue.
In short: Hulk Hogan's in Cleveland, OH. That's the news.
