IMPACT Wrestling's Jordynne Grace caused disgraced ex-WWE star Chris Benoit to trend on Twitter after posting some thoughts on his life/career.

Grace quoted a fan tweet about Benoit's legacy and warned others reading her words that this would be her "coldest take" on the app. Then, Jordynne questioned whether or not the Canadian could keep up with today's pro wrestlers.

That...didn't really go over well with some, as Grace expected.

Explaining, Jordynne wondered whether or not Benoit "would be able to remember matches". She then closed her tweet by adding: "Also, may he burn in hell".

Wrestling fans were quick to jump on the topic - some reasoned that the former World Champion's in-ring accomplishments should be separated from his personal life. Others, however, admitted that they couldn't distinguish between his WCW/WWE achievements and the double murder/suicide tragedy in 2007.

Benoit's in-ring ability is surely undeniable though, so it's interesting that Grace decided to attack that side of things. The once-celebrated 'Crippler' was regarded as one of the best workers on the planet before things ended the way they did away from the ring.
