Jake "The Snake" Roberts In Stable Condition
Jake's condition has improved, but he has been transferred to another facility for further testing.
reported on Jake The Snake Roberts shocking hospitalization. The original report stated that Roberts had passed out during a plane flight and was rushed to the hospital upon landing. Sinn Bodhi, who has been by Jakes side since his admittance to the medical facility, has stated that those reports were incorrect. Roberts had begun to experience obvious signs that something was not right. He was experiencing shortness of breath and painful tightening in his chest. Jake notified the flight crew who subsequently arranged for an ambulance to be waiting for Roberts upon the planes landing. As reported, Jake was rushed to the hospital and was placed in the Intensive Care Unit. Roberts has been diagnosed with double pneumonia and was in critical condition yesterday. Today, however, Jake has returned to stable condition, after awakening from a 24-hour coma. Furthermore, he was transferred to a different Las Vegas area hospital -- one which is reportedly more equipped to deal with Jakes condition. The double pneumonia has led to fluid filling Jakes lungs, as reported yesterday. Now, reports indicate that some of Jakes other bodily organs have filled with fluid. This was one of the reasons it was decided to move Roberts to another hospital. Theres been no further word on the supposed mass found on Jakes brain. The hospital is continuing to run tests on Roberts in order to fully determine what is wrong, if anything, beyond the double pneumonia. Diamond Dallas Page has commented that Jake is in talkative and coherent, albeit a little grumpy. More information will surely be available in the coming days as doctors continue to perform tests on the 59 year old Hall of Famer. The good news, however, is that Jakes condition seems to be improving -- even if slightly -- thanks to the care hes receiving.
