International Joshi legend Meiko Satomura is set to compete in WWE's second Mae Young Classic tournament, according to a new report from the Tokyo Sports newspaper.

WWE are yet to officially confirm any names for this year's MYC, but with PROGRESS star Toni Storm and incoming signee Io Shirai already linked with the tournament, it sounds like the company are assembling an all-star line-up.

Satomura, 38, is widely considered one of the best wrestlers in Japan, regardless of gender. She has more than 20 years of experience, and even performed for WCW from 1996-97, but is best known for her work in Sendai Girls, World Wrestling Stardom, and the defunct GAEA Japan promotion.

A full-time deal may be out of the question, as Satomura owns and operates Sendai Girls. Still, she's the total package package between the ropes. As technical as she is powerful, the current Fight Club Pro Champion excels in big match situations, and is as comfortable trading strikes as she is working holds.

The Mae Young Classic 2 will be filmed in Winter Park, Florida on August 7th and 8th. Further details are yet to be revealed, but should be unearthed over the coming weeks.
