PWInsider are reporting that Kane will NOT be returning on RAW tonight after Sting's late inclusion in the show. The Big Red Machine's return will now have to wait a couple of weeks. Kane's return was a highly anticipated one as he was expected to be wearing his mask. The seven-footer had been playing the role of Corporate Kane, the Authority's Director of Operations, slacks and all, since handing his mask to Stephanie McMahon on October 28 last year, the night after Hell in a Cell. The Authority, in turn, during their backstage office segments, kept the headpiece in a perspex box in the background of many shots. But the box hasn't been seen in recent weeks, fuelling speculation that The Devil's Favourite Demon will return to the red side, if you will. The last time we saw the former World Heavyweight Champion, he was having his ankle smashed at the hands of Brock Lesnar and the ring steps. Seth Rollins was also part of the storyline and poked fun at Kane. Logic dictates that Kane would come back in search of some sort of revenge on Lesnar, Rollins or The Authority. But we'll now have to wait and see how any sort of story line kicks off. Sting was drafted into this week's RAW script last Thursday. The Stinger wasn't initially scheduled to appear on the show for the first time in two weeks. He kicked off the programme with a promo last week after making a shocking return the week before when he hijacked Seth Rollins' statue reveal. Sting's return saw a huge spike in WWE's ratings, which is why the powers that be have come to the decision to draft him in once again. Poor old Kane...
