Kevin Owens Challenges Ezekiel (Or Elias) For Next Week's WWE Raw
KO could face Elias, younger brother Ezekiel... or their youngest brother Elrod?
The strange - and yet, perversely entertaining - story of Kevin Owens being confounded by Elias' younger brother Ezekiel continued Monday night with the first appearance of both "brothers" on Raw at the same time.
Elias returned to WWE to perform for the audience and appeared in a backstage segment with Ezekiel in an obvious split-screen situation. The two chatted back and forth before Elias showed up in the ring, donning a pretty obvious fake beard.
Before Elias could even get going with his concert, Owens interrupted and called the troubadour a liar, saying that Elias and Ezekiel were one in the same. Zeke then showed up on the tron, pointing out that he was backstage while Elias was in the ring with KO. Owens freaked at this and attacked Elias, which led to a guitar shot for his troubles.
Stumbling backstage, Owens challenged Elias, Ezekiel or their younger brother that no one had met yet, Elrod, to a match next week. Suddenly, Ezekiel showed up to accept the challenge, which really threw KO off and let to another massive freak out.

While the matches are merely passable, this ongoing wink-and-nod joke between WWE and the fans about Ezekiel has been one of the rare consistent bright spots for Raw, with the company not talking down to the crowd and letting the joke just play out naturally. As a result, it's actually worked far better than anyone could have imagined.
