Toxic Attraction sensationally split on last night's NXT.

Jacey Jayne and Gigi Dolin are a unit no more after Jayne viciously attacked Dolin during the evening's show-closing angle. The pair appeared on a special edition of Ding Dong, Hello! to ostensibly iron out their differences after losing to NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez at Saturday's Vengeance Day.

After initially teasing splitting (Jayne negged Dolin about all her failings as well as acknowledging how angry she can get when things don't go well), the two appeared to find common ground when they turned their attention to Bayley. They threatened going for Damage CTRL's WWE Tag Team Championships, at which point the host stepped in and forced them to hug it out.

It was then that the mirroring of Shawn Michaels' legendary turn on Marty Jannetty became apparent to everybody apart from Dolin herself. Jayne levelled her now-former partner with a superkick, grabbed her by the hair and through her hard into the set's door. A follow-up kick looked even stiffer - Gigi's head snapped hard against the doorframe following the shot.

Jayne left to boos to confirm her staying heel against what'll presumably be her partner's babyface turn.

Toxic Attraction originally formed in 2021 when Mandy Rose surprisingly defected to NXT and scouted both both Jayne and Dolin. The group won singles and tag gold and held both for much of 2022. Rose's 413-day reign ended on December 13th when she was defeated by Perez before being fired the next day. Jayne and Dolin had continued as a tag team until last night's severence.
