Following the release of ten NXT stars this past Friday, it looks as if there could be a fresh batch of WWE main roster cuts on the horizon.

Speaking on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted how these ten talents won't be the only ones released as he's heard "rumblings" that main roster releases are on the way.

The last batch of main roster cuts made by WWE came last November, with names like Hit Row, John Morrison and Tegan Nox released at that point. Of course, this past January saw the NXT brand hit hard with the release of heavy hitters such as William Regal, 'Road Dogg' Brian James, Gabe Sapolsky, Scott Armstrong and three-time NXT Champion Samoa Joe.

For those who may have missed it, Friday saw WWE release Dakota Kai, Malcolm Bivens, Dexter Lumis, Persia Pirotta, Harland, Draco Anthony, Raelyn Divine, Vish Kanya, Mila Malani and Blair Baldwin. Both Kai and Bivens had made it clear that they had no intention to re-sign with the company when their deals expired in the first half of next year.
