MAJOR Title Change On Last Night's WWE Raw
Braun Strowman & Seth Rollins at the heart of major championship upheaval.
Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins are your new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, having defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to take the straps on last night's show.
The bout was set up earlier in the evening. Braun's pre-booked United States Championship clash with AJ Styles ended in a disqualification when Gallows interfered after just three minutes, with the former Festus and his OC stablemates continuing the beating after the bell. This prompted a save from Seth Rollins who returned Strowman's favour for last week, helping 'The Monster Among Men' to his feet, before things got tense between the two.
Later, Rollins suggested they go after the tag belts together. Strowman agreed, but constantly eyed Seth's Universal Title throughout the rest of the night - even as they celebrated their victory.
That victory came when Braun hit Anderson with a Running Powerslam then made they pin as Rollins wiped Styles out.
Gallows and Anderson's reign lasted just 21 days with no successful defences, while Rollins is now a five-time Raw Tag Team Champion and Strowman has entered his second reign. It'll be interesting to see where the unlikely duo go next - particularly if they're to contest the Universal strap at Clash of Champions.
