Matt Jackson wants to set one of his Air Jordans on fire and use the flaming shoe to superkick an All Elite Wrestling opponent in the face.

As revealed during a recent appearance on Complex's Sneaker Shopping series, the elder Young Bucks hasn't yet run out of wacky ideas on how to use his and brother Nick's shoe collections for violence, having utilised expensive footwear as weaponry several times throughout 2021.

Matt told host Joe La Puma the following (h/t Fightful):-

"I have a wild idea. I would really love to get whatever hot shoe of the year or the season and I would love to set it on fire and superkick someone in the face. If I can get away with it, that's my next big thing."

Flaunting pricy Jordans and Nikes has become a Young Bucks trademark over the past few years. Notably, All Out 2021 saw the duo destroy both Lucha Brothers by kicking them with tack-lined Jordan 1's in their hellish steel cage match, which was a repeat of an old PWG spot.

Matt said the following of bringing it back, having originated the tack-assisted superkick when the Bucks faced Candice LeRae and Joey Ryan at PWG Eleven in July 2014:-

"I've become a professional at it. I do it myself. I did it years ago at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. It was a cheaper (shoe), maybe an Air Force One. I did it and it was a big deal, but it was 2015 so people had forgotten. I asked Nick, 'I have this crazy idea, let's bring it back.' It had to be another expensive sneaker. At this point, we had already done the Dior High. This was the next one. That morning, I grabbed super glue, a couple hundred thumbtacks, and sat there and literally poked it with gorilla glue and placed it on one at a time. It was kind of like arts and crafts for me."

Woe betide whatever poor sole volunteers to eat the flaming superkick.
