Mick Foley Rips WWE Tough Enough Over Patrick's Elimination
WWE Hall of Famer is not happy with the way the show is run.
Facebook page, Foley wrote more about it:
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has has vowed to stop watching Tough Enough after last nights shocking elimination of Patrick Clark, who was considered a favourite to win a contract on the WWE reality show. During the nomination part of the show this week, Paige nominated Patrick because he was being too cocky. Even though he's the only one of the guys that is actually a trained wrestler and it was clear he was well ahead of the others when they did the training, he ended up in the bottom three. He's also the only one that was a huge WWE fan that knows a lot of the company's history, which is impressive especially because he's only 19 years old. When the voting took place to keep Patrick, ZZ or Josh, it was Patrick who got the least amount of votes even though ZZ was criticized by judge Daniel Bryan for not showing much improvement. Foley wasn't shy about tweeting his displeasure. https://twitter.com/RealMickFoley/status/623657534126211072 https://twitter.com/RealMickFoley/status/623660857927540736 https://twitter.com/RealMickFoley/status/623671027730644993 On his ENOUGH'S ENOUGH. With the elimination of Patrick, two weeks after the dismissal of Daria, I'm officially tapping out on #ToughEnough. In order for a future season to seem relevant, WWE needed a guy who could step into a role on the main roster within a year's time. Sure, there are some promising prospects left - but each one is a long-term project, and a roll of the dice. Patrick was the real deal and now he's gone...along with this particular viewer. It's easy to see why Foley is upset because it's so frustrating to watch this show. This is just a guess, but Mick Foley probably won't be invited to do a guest spot on Tough Enough! Despite his elimination, it wouldn't be a shock if Patrick ends up signing a WWE developmental deal very soon anyway, so he could still have a bright future anyway. Here's the video of the elimination. What's your take on it? Comment below.
