MJF and Adam Cole just broke a 2023 AEW record, bay bay!
The two one-time enemies-turned-tag-title-chasing-pals have had quite the journey over the last few weeks.
And after finally securing an AEW Tag Team Championship match against FTR on July 29's Collision, it's now been confirmed in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the two unlikely pals are better at selling t-shirts than you, too, and you know it.
Their "Better Than You Bay Bay" t-shirt has actually been purchased more than any other AEW shirt this year, with the Cole/MJF collaboration also being the second highest-grossing shirt for the year behind the latter's button down shirt - though that one does have a higher price point.
Simply put, AEW is making some serious money from this consistently entertaining duo.
Few honestly saw the forced together unit's surge in popularity coming, with the AEW World Champion and the star who took him to the limit back in June's relationship seemingly only getting stronger by the week.
Hopefully AEW find a way to draw this white hot act out a little longer before the inevitable singles rematch. People are evidently invested in the "Better Than You" boys, and those t-shirt sales prove it!
