The Kabuki Warriors defeated Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross to become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions in a Hell In A Cell clash announced mere hours before the show hit the air.

Alongside several other spontaneously-booked scuffles, The Kakuki Warriors were given another opportunity at the straps after previously failing in multi-woman scenarios. Alongside a soundtrack of Michael Cole and Corey Graves repeatedly espousing that they'd lost their way somewhat, the two chopped, kicked and dragged their way to an emphatic win after Asuka surprised Nikki Cross with a deadly green mist attack to the eyes.

The match was a surprisingly enjoyable outing considering the terms upon which it had been arranged. Cross and Bliss excelled yet again despite having to play heels and babyfaces in the same match, whilst Asuka and Kairi Sane found their fire, presumably fueled by the sudden decision to propel them to the top of the division.

The pair had previously resided on SmackDown, but may now float across all three brands (as Bayley and Sasha Banks had intended to during their original run), particularly with the impending Draft kicking off on Friday's SmackDown.
