TMZ put out a new interview with Loureda shortly after her original tweet. Valerie, who has been training for several months, officially starts with WWE on 18 July, and has set herself a goal of being on television by the year's end:-

"Turning 24 and becoming a WWE Superstar, like, that's my dream. I'm going to train there very hard. My goal personally is to be on live TV by the end of the year. Obviously, I trust the WWE and what they've done with all their athletes, and I'm going to follow their path. But, I set big bars and expectations for myself, and I'm going to work very hard to make life to be ready by the end of this year."

Finished with MMA for the time being, Loureda last competed for Bellator in November 2021, when she defeated Taylor Turner. She has a strong background in combat sports, with her father, Frank, a taekwondo school owner and mother Mily a practitioner.
