Next Week's WWE NXT To Have "Limited Commercials"
NXT's full two-hour USA Network debut will have minimal interruptions.
As announced during the USA Network hour of last night's WWE NXT show, next week's episode will feature "limited commercial interruption."
With Dave Meltzer reporting on today's Wrestling Observer Radio that TNT want 16 minutes of advertising per hour of AEW Dynamite, this should, theoretically, give NXT another edge when it comes to the all-round viewing experience.
Next week's is the first episode of NXT that will see the full two-hour show air on USA. The past couple of shows have been split in two, with the first hour on television and the second on the Network. Now, with Suits' season wrapping up to free the 9pm slot, NXT can go full TV.
A number of huge title matches have been announced for the 2 October NXT, with NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. Matt Riddle, Women's Champion Shayna Baszler vs. Candice LeRae, and Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly vs. the Street Profits all confirmed.
AEW Dynamite, meanwhile, will feature Chris Jericho and two mystery partners vs. The Elite, Cody vs. Sammy Guevara, PAC vs. Hangman Page, a host of other bouts... and, potentially, a boatload of commercial breaks as well.
