Kenny Omega will defend his IMPACT Wrestling World Championship at Under Siege on 15 May.

The IMPACT Plus live special will play host to what Dave Meltzer stated he believes will be Omega's first title defence on today's Wrestling Observer Radio, though there's currently no word on who his opponent will be.

Meltzer pinpointed Moose, Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Trey Miguel, and Josh Alexander as the leading contenders to face Kenny, who beat Swann to take the IMPACT World Title at Rebellion last weekend. The Best Bout Machine is now a triple World Champion, holding IMPACT, AAA, and AEW's top straps, as well as the old TNA Heavyweight Championship.

Omega will be at the next set of television tapings, presumably to set something up for Under Siege. He will work a tag team bout as part of these tapings and we could have a stronger idea of who his opponent is going to be after this Thursday's IMPACT! show.

A bigger title match likely awaits Omega at July's Slammiversary event, an exact date for which is yet to be confirmed. IMPACT is teasing the likes of Samoa Joe and Kazuchika Okada for the pay-per-view.
