Before The Ultimate Thrill Ride seeks to steal the weekend, NXT's TakeOver event hopes to make its own mark, serving up what will surely be some of the weekend's best and most engaging in-ring action.

Though the recent TakeOver shows have lacked a little of the fire that made them so popular in the first place, Orlando's show was still a rock solid collection of matches, and while the NXT Title picture continues to feel relatively uninspired, the Tag and Women's divisions were well-served here with two exemplary bouts.

What's clear is that even TakeOver's worst match will be a million miles away from WrestleMania's worst, so regardless of how the Grandaddy of 'Em All turns out, the weekend won't be a total wash.

5. Tye Dillinger, Ruby Riot, Roderick Strong & Kassius Ohno Vs. SAnitY

Result: Dain nailed Dillinger with the Ulster Plantation for the win (12:30).

Rating: A solid multi-man opener if certainly the show's worst match. The moment-to-moment wrestling was good, but it was unimaginatively booked, and the women conveniently rolling out of the ring when it was time for the men to fight was especially transparent and lazy.

There was some really great selling from E.Y. here, but it's just hard to be particularly enthusiastic about SAnitY, especially with Dillinger being the one to eat the loss. With Dain being added to the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last-minute, could he be getting a rocket strapped to him this weekend?

Again, an enjoyable start to the show, but you won't remember it post-Mania. 6/10
