Yuka Sakazaki vs. Masha Slamovich was amongst the bouts announced for the upcoming Nineteen show (3 July) on Twitter last night:-

PWG has not booked a straight-up women's singles match since June 2010, when promotional mainstay Candice LeRae wrestled Christina Von Eerie. LeRae continued with the company until December 2016, becoming one of the most important wrestlers in the group's history and partaking in some of its most acclaimed bouts, though she exclusively worked intergender matches there before leaving the independents and signing with WWE.

Slamovich is considered amongst the most promising rising stars on today's independent scene, having caught the eye through her intense, hard-hitting performances over the past few years, and is now signed to IMPACT Wrestling. Sakazaki, meanwhile, is a global standout, a Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling headliner in Japan, and frequent All Elite Wrestling guest.
