Randy Orton appeared to suffer an injury during the closing moments of the RK-Bro/Street Profits tag match on Raw Monday night, though initial reports indicate that it might not be serious.

As the match wound down, Montez Ford connected with one of his patented sky-high frog splashes that saw him come down hard across Orton's upper torso. Randy immediately reacted to the impact and rolled toward the ropes, which might have been part of the plan. Ford covered and Orton tried to get his foot on the ropes, but he was too far away to reach. Nevertheless, Angelo Dawkins pushed the Viper's foot away from the rope and Ford scored the pinfall.

Speaking on his post-Raw YouTube recap, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com reported that he had been told that sources don't think the injury is serious and believe Orton "tweaked his shoulder," noting that Randy was helped out of the ring. He later tweeted that the tag match was supposed to have a different ending, though he didn't indicate whether that meant that RK-Bro was supposed to win or if the match was just planned to run longer with the same result.

Orton has had a history of shoulder issues through the years, so anytime you hear about a potential injury - even if it's not believed to be serious - you have to cringe a bit. We'll hopefully find out in the next day or so whether Orton will miss any time.n

RK-Bro is slated to face Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins and Alpha Academy on Raw next week in a triple threat tag match for the Alphas' Raw Tag Team Championship.
