Randy Orton may have sustained a significant injury after a contest with AJ Styles on a WWE house show had to be brought to an immediate halt.

The pair were in action against one another at last night's live event in Hershey, Pennsylvania when the damage was done. As noted by several different online accounts, the stoppage took place when Orton attempted to RKO 'The Phenomenal' former WWE Champion and landed badly on his left knee.

Twitter footage emerged of medical staff and referees checking on 'The Viper' in the immediate aftermath, with Orton unable to properly make it to his feet in the clip.

It is unknown how serious the knock is at this point, though it's worth noting that Orton sold this exact problem relentlessly during a taped six-man tag team match against The OC on the December 23rd edition of Monday Night Raw. The cancelling of a house show match suggests this is not part of that particular story, though WWE may involve this in the angle if the damage proves enough to keep the recently-turned Randy out of this or any other programmes in the near future.
