While it seemed like a foregone conclusion weeks ago, you can now lock it in: Becky Lynch will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam.

Lynch issued the declaration last week, but she confirmed Monday night that she would face the champ -- whomever that would be after the title match that opened Raw -- at the big summer show. Moments later, Belair dispatched Carmella, putting that issue to bed and setting the title match, a rematch that has now come full circle.

Belair was the SmackDown Women's Champion heading into SummerSlam last year when her scheduled opponent Sasha Banks was unable to compete. Carmella came out to serve as her replacement, but then Becky made a shock return after 16 months away due to pregnancy and motherhood. Lynch would nail a Manhandle Slam and end Bianca's title reign in 26 seconds, humiliating her and kicking off a heel turn for Big Time Becks.

Fast-forward to WrestleMania 38, where Lynch, now the Raw Women's Champion after having to trade titles with Charlotte Flair due to both being drafted to different brands, had to defend her title against Belair. Bianca would dethrone Lynch, exacting a modicum of revenge.

But SummerSlam, as Belair noted, is where the two women's paths first crossed, so this match represents a rivalry that has gone through every permutation. And given the participants, it should also be a good match.
