All Elite Wrestling's backstage morales is "very high" at the moment, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

This comes ahead of next week's show at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York City, which will be the biggest in company history, attendance-wise, with well over 18,000 tickets sold.

Johnson notes that everyone in the company wants to be involved in those Grand Slam tapings, during which AEW will capture the 22 September episode of Dynamite and Rampage for the 24th. They understand that this is going to be a major milestone in company history - and that the shows will play out to AEW's biggest in-arena audience.

On top of this, the roster is cognizant that Grand Slam is going to outdraw WWE's return to Madison Square Garden last week, which had an attendance of around 13,000.

That AEW's locker-room morale is soaring isn't surprising, given the company's recent successes. Last week saw Dynamite outdo WWE Raw in the key 19-49 demographic, a feat that was repeated this week, with All Out 2021 attracting around 200,000 buys (another company record).
