Jack Perry may have been asked to leave AEW All In 2023 following his backstage confrontation with CM Punk this Sunday (27 August), but this reportedly wasn't the case for his sparring partner.

Haus of Wrestling reports that after wrestling Samoa Joe in All In's main card opener, Punk returned to his locker room, cleaned up, and chatted with security. He asked the team if it would be better for him to leave the building, considering this "better for everyone" given the situation, and was told that while he wasn't being asked to leave, doing so might make it easier.

Agreeing to this, Punk left Wembley of his own accord, headed to his hotel, and met up with some talent after the pay-per-view, ordering them Nando's.

Haus of Wrestling noted, too, that as of Monday, there had been no indication of much communication between Punk and AEW following the incident. The Chicagoan's future in the company "appears to be questionable", however.

Accounts of who made Perry and Punk's confrontation physical remain varied. Haus of Wrestling's states that Perry told Punk to "do something about it" after Punk had instigated the verbals. Punk shoved Perry after this. Perry retorted, then got put in a chokehold, which Punk saw as "a way to neutralize the situation, as he's a trained fighter and does not want to have to fight Perry."
