In a development that will shock only those incapable of cynicism, Vince McMahon is reportedly responsible for Brock Lesnar vs. Omos making it onto the WrestleMania 39 card.

This is according to WrestleVotes. The account notes that Vince had the idea of Brock vs. Omos - and was ultimately responsible for pushing it through.

Lesnar vs. Omos emerged as a possibility on last week's episode of WWE Raw, where Omos' manager, MVP, called Brock out. This week, Lesnar answered the challenge before beating MVP up in an in-ring segment, with the match being added to WrestleMania 39 (1 and 2 April) shortly afterwards.

That Omos and Brock's feud might be a Vince vehicle was speculated as soon as Lesnar pivoted away from Bobby Lashley following their inconclusive Elimination Chamber 2023 match. Now, it has seemingly been confirmed.

McMahon is back in WWE after being forced to resign in disgrace from his old positions as Chairman and CEO last July, doing so amidst sexual misconduct allegations. In January, the 77-year-old returned to the Board of Directors as Executive Chairman, doing so under the threat of failing to agree on new content rights deals and a potential sale of the company should he be spurned.
