The returning faces brought back for WWE Raw's special Legends Night episode aren't believed to be in any danger following Drew McIntyre's positive COVID-19 test result.

This is according to Dave Meltzer. Speaking on the Sunday Night's Main Event podcast, he said that while Hulk Hogan rubbed shoulders with the WWE Champion on-air (presumably, others would have done similar backstage), the legends should be safe as McIntyre tested negative for the illness currently sweeping the planet in the days following the show. It wasn't until Sunday 10 January that his positive test result came through.

McIntyre appeared on last week's episode of Raw, addressing his COVID-19 case remotely. This was the first time WWE has ever acknowledged the ongoing global health crisis on television. Meltzer has previously noted that Drew is expected to return to Raw for the 25 January go-home episode for Royal Rumble 2021.

Hogan (67 years old), Ric Flair (71), Teddy Long (73), and Jimmy Hart (78) were among the older performers brought back for Legends Night. Flair is currently working a full-time role alongside Lacey Evans and opposite his daughter, Charlotte, despite the health crisis.
