Ricochet hasn't enjoyed the best of fortunes on WWE television lately, with Brock Lesnar delivering a one-sided, 90-second pounding to the company's 'Resident Superhero' at Super ShowDown 2020, before Riddick Moss defeated him clean in a poorly-received 24/7 Championship match on last week's episode of Raw.

At a time when struggling WWE stars are quick to use social media to spread salt all over the internet (for better or worse), this is good to see. Ricochet, the character, might have a lot of ground to regain, but the man behind him isn't sweating at the moment.

Recent reports suggest that Ricochet's lagging fortunes are supposed to be "character building." This is a bold, bold move from a company that hasn't traditionally done a good job in getting wrestlers over in defeat, though Ricochet's athletic talents mean he's always likely to pop a live crowd regardless of how he's booked.
