Road Dogg Accused Of Burying Talent In WWE
Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers as ex-WWE wrestler takes aim.
Former WWE wrestler Cash Wheeler has accused company veteran Brian 'Road Dogg' James of burying talent in the promotion.
This stemmed from a Dax Harwood tweet passive-aggressively wishing Shawn Michaels a happy birthday, saying "here's a picture of the greatest wrestler ever" accompanied by a picture of Bret Hart. Road Dogg then chimed in, claiming Harwood had "no guts" for not tagging HBK, and Cash entered the fray soon after:-
Road Dogg is yet to respond.
Wheeler and Harwood left WWE in April, ending their run as The Revival, and have since joined All Elite Wrestling as FTR. James, meanwhile, has been in and out of the world's biggest promotion since 1994, with his most recent stint commencing in 2011.
This isn't the first time Road Dogg has attracted controversy since then. Promotion to a prominent writing role on SmackDown in 2016 had many fans calling out a decline in the show's subjective quality, leading to many a spat with a defensive James on Twitter. He served as that show's head of creative until just after WrestleMania 35, when it was announced he had resigned, stepping into a position coaching promos and character development at the Performance Center.
