Ronda Rousey's social media form has taken a turn for the controversial lately, with the reigning Raw Women's Champion attempting to shred potential WrestleMania 35 opponent Becky Lynch with a series of expletive-riddled, kayfabe-busting tweets.

In one, she shot on Lynch's "non sensical BS 'armbar' that doesn't even work." Another saw her promise to "beat the living sh*t" out of "Rebecca Quin" the next time they ran into each now. Now, 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' has extended the narrative to her Ronda On The Road vlog series, cutting a heavy Vince Russo-esque promo during the latest episode:-

H/T Cageside Seats for the transcription:-

“It wasn’t a promo they gave me other things to say I didn't f***ing say it. It’s not a promo. It’s not an act. I’m not going out there and doing their f***ing act anymore, I’m going out there and doing whatever the hell I want. And they can explain it however they want, but f***em. Everybody. WWE Universe included. I meant that I’m going to disrespect the sport that they all love so much. ‘Ohhhh don’t break kayfabe Ronda!’ Wrestling is scripted. It’s made up. It’s not real. None of those b****** can f***ing touch me. The end.”

This latest Rousey diatribe will split opinion. Some might argue that none of it matters because kayfabe died decades ago, and can never be revived. Still, straight-up telling your audience that what they're watching is fake probably isn't the best idea in the world when you're trying to sell a storyline. Thor didn't yell "bring me Josh Brolin!" upon making his badass entrance for Infinity War's Wakandan battle scene.

On top of all this, it's hard to tell how much of this is a work, with WWE officials supposedly less-than-pleased with the verbiage used in Rousey and Lynch's recent Twitter spats. Whatever the case, theirs remains WWE's hottest feud.
