With Ronda Rousey currently shooting FOX’s new 9-1-1 series, The Rowdy One has done herself quite the nasty injury.

Courtesy of TMZ, the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion broke two fingers while filming a tense sequence last week in Mexico.

The report says that the injury occurred during a scene where Rousey was supposed to dramatically slam a door shut. It appears that the ever-intense MMA icon got a little too carried away and actually slammed the door shut on her own fingers.

Showcasing her toughness, Ronda reportedly didn’t break character and was back on set the very next day despite nearly severing the tendon in her middle finger and fracturing the tip of her ring finger.

For the curious ones of you out there, TMZ managed to nab this gnarly shot of the damage.

Where her pro wrestling career is concerned, Ronda Rousey is still signed to WWE but is currently on a leave of absence from the company. The last time wrestling fans saw Rousey was when she was pinned for the first time in her WWE career courtesy of Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35.

Since ‘Mania, Ronda announced that she was to take some time away from the squared circle as she and husband Travis Browne were looking to start a family.
