Sami Callihan and Major League Wrestling have parted company amidst accusations of recklessness, damage to property and personal grudges.

As reported by SEScoops, the former NXT and Impact Wrestling star lost a Loser Leaves Town match to Mance Warner on the latest edition of MLW Fusion to service an ongoing storyline, but the stipulation will now be adhered to as a shoot in lieu of the an intended return angle. The pair brawled throughout the Waukesha Expo Center, allegedly causing damage to $10,000 bleachers as well as other properties owned by the building.

Addressing the damage as well as Sami's additional work with the organisation, MLW Chief Court Bauer noted, "That makes it very, very difficult to return to the venue which is disappointing as I enjoyed working with Sami. He was an agent and worked hard. Fans would’ve enjoyed the next chapter."

A ongoing dispute with Jim Cornette was also rumoured to be a factor behind the release, but Bauer's remarks suggest this speculation is baseless. He spat on the 'Louisville Lip' during a hostile entrance for the aforementioned clash.
