Samoa Joe returns at ROH Supercard Of Honor, Tony Khan confirms his AEW signing.
Samoa Joe is All Elite, AND seemingly back in Ring Of Honor too.
Joe returned at the climax of Supercard Of Honor to save Jonathan Gresham and Lee Moriarty from a beatdown at the hands of Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt.
Tony Khan had teased something major on Twitter in the build-up to the event, and doubled down on that during a promo just before the cameras rolled for the pre-show.
There, he told the audience that “if you leave before this show is over, it’ll be a regret you’ll never forget”. This, thankfully, wasn’t one of his more hyperbolic carnival barks.
Joe’s return drew a thunderous response in the building, as did a powerful promo he cut about ROH as the home of professional wrestling. Khan tweeted the signature All Elite graphic at the same time, before returning to the arena to toast Joe’s arrival, the crowd and indeed what he referred to as the “new era” of Ring Of Honor.
