Seth Rollins regrets "not pressing hard enough" to make his 2021 feud with Cesaro something more special.

The WWE star did tell Ryan Satin's 'Out Of Character' show that the pair still managed to produce a "banger" at WrestleMania 37, but Seth doesn't think he was able to tap into his new 'Visionary' character enough - Rollins was still working that side of things out when he was programmed with the Swiss wrestling machine.

Seth wouldn't properly understand the persona until motoring past Cesaro onto a feud with Edge. That brought out a darker side to his new character, one he wishes that had been fully present for an extended run with the current ROH World Champion.

It wasn't to be.

In an interesting moment, Rollins revealed that WWE let him be "a little more off the rails" during the Edge rivalry. This suggests that creative held back throughout the Cesaro feud, or maybe they just didn't think it was an 'A' program for Seth at the time.

Regardless, the sharp suit-wearing heel regrets the fact that Rollins vs. Cesaro didn't go far enough. He called it "an untapped story".
