The group's official Twitter account was in celebratory mood after Deonn Rusman, Joeasa and Travis Horn lost to Aleister Black, Buddy Murphy and Erick Rowan respectively. All three are graduates of of the Iowa-based wrestling academy co-owned by Rollins and business partner Marek Brave.

Brave tweeted from his personal account to congratulate the trio, before also noting that" You will see plenty more of our @BlackandBrave grads going forward. Guarantee it. The talent our guys & girls have is limitless. Beyond proud of all of them for chasing their dreams with everything they've got."

WWE typically use local wrestlers as extras during Raw and SmackDown tapings, though it's not always the case that the performers actually get in-ring time with the main roster regulars. The trainees are normally given roles as police, security guards or backstage stand-ins, but the timing of the tapings resulted in the show requiring three separate squashes. Expect to see these and others appear on "Before The Were Superstars" reels in the months and years to come.
