Several Surprising NXT Call-Ups During Last Night's WWE Raw Taping
Main roster debuts made for former NXT Champions during last night's show.
WWE gave main roster debuts to NXT's Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley during the Main Event section of last night's Monday Night Raw taping.
Fallon Henley worked current 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke, while former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Briggs and Jensen took on the makeshift pairing of Shelton Benjamin and R-Truth. The latter act even found some success, earning victory over the Raw veterans after nailing R-Truth with their double team high-low finisher following miscommunication between babyface Truth and his heel partner Benjamin. Henley was less successful, falling to Brooke via sunset flip.
Briggs, Jensen and Henley have been mainstays on NXT for the majority of the "2.0" era for the brand. The cowboy duo made their first appearance as bar-fighting babyfaces on the maiden edition of the show back in September 2021, and recent Performance Center arrival Henley linked up with them shortly afterwards. Previous to that, she'd wrestled for AEW between November 2020 and August 2021, losing on Dark and Dark: Elevation against the likes of Hikaru Shida, Dr Britt Baker DMD, Serena Deeb and others.
