Shawn Michaels To Name NXT Men's Team On WWE Survivor Series 2019 Kickoff Show
They're leaving this a bit late.
NXT TakeOver: WarGames came and went last night, yet we're still none the wiser as to who will represent the black and gold brand in the big 15-man elimination contest at tonight's Survivor Series.
That's because WWE have decided that the best way to build to the big show is by having Hall of Famer and Triple H's NXT lackey Shawn Michaels casually announce the team as part of the pay-per-view's Kickoff panel.
According to WWE.com, The Heartbreak Kid will spill the proverbial "just moments before Survivor Series goes on air" - so no need to sit through the entire hour of guff.
The NXT women's elimination team was confirmed during a livestream with Triple H and Rhea Ripley shortly after WarGames went off the air. Whereas Michaels will name the men's team, Ripley had the privilege of picking her own partners for Sunday night.
In addition to the men's and women's Triple Threat Elimination matches, the three brands also go to war in three Champions Showcase Triple Threats, revolving around the groups' respective Women's, Tag and, er, Midcard champions.
