The biggest bout taped for Friday's show was a "Royal Rampage" Battle Royal designed to establish a new number one contender for Jon Moxley's interim AEW World Championship. Rather surprisingly, House Of Black member Brody King was the one booked to win it.

He tossed Darby Allin over the top to snag a future title shot vs. Mox.

King has looked impressive in various six-man matches alongside stablemates Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews. His power-based style and general presentation should also mean that Moxley goes into their title showdown as the physical underdog - that should be fun.

Fans on Twitter who spotted leaked reports are already split right down the middle on Brody getting the nod. Some think it's nice to see someone fresh getting pushed into the title conversation, whereas others believe AEW should've picked a more high-profile name for Jon's first interim defence.

Moxley beat Hiroshi Tanahashi at last weekend's Forbidden Door pay-per-view. That match only came about because CM Punk was struck down by injury shortly after winning the belt at Double Or Nothing.

AEW should announce Mox vs. King in due course after Friday's Rampage.
