Samoa Joe made his WWE debut at Wednesday's NXT Takeover Unstoppable event. On Thursday, WWE taped four episodes of NXT that will air over the the next four weeks. Joe was involved during the tapings, so here's what you need to know about his involvement courtesy of results from WrestlingInc. Week 1 taping for May 27 airing - In the main event, Kevin Owens defeated Solomon Crowe. When Owens went for the Powerbomb on the apron, Joe showed up and Owens ran away. It was another way of building to an eventual physical confrontation between Owens and Joe. There was no appearance by Joe on camera during the week two taping. They could air a sitdown interview with him or something else to get him involved. Week 3 taping for June 10 airing - Joe faced Scott Dawson in his first match. It was the main event of the show. Joe won clean. Owens was on commentary, so Joe called him to the ring. Owens called Joe a rookie in NXT that had to earn a title shot. NXT GM William Regal showed up to announce Owens vs. Joe for the following week in a non-title match. Week 4 taping for June 17 airing - The last match after taping four shows was Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens. The match didn't have a clean finish since Owens slammed the referee into Joe and when the wrestlers brawled the ref went down. They kept on brawling, so the match was over at that point without a winner. It was one of those classic brawling scenes where they were pulled apart and kept on breaking free to try to fight with eachother. Neither man really had the advantage. Owens got out of there with the NXT Title in his possession and that ended the taping. No word on when Finn Balor gets his NXT Title shot at Kevin Owens since it didn't happen at the taping. Those four tapings will take WWE through June 17. The next taping is on Thursday June 18. The next NXT Takeover live special is August 12, so they will have three months of tapings to set that up.
