Steve Austin Set For 3/16 Episode Of WWE Raw
'Stone Cold' returns to celebrate #316Day on this special episode of Raw.
'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is set to appear on the 16 March episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, the promotion has confirmed.
This will be a special #316Day episode of Raw, because, you know... March 16th, 3/16, Steve Austin. Good.
A smart little piece of marketing that'll surely bump Raw's numbers for the night, given 'Stone Cold's' enduring popularity in WWE. Perhaps he'll be used to help build one of the company's WrestleMania 36 programmes. The promotion will be just a few short weeks away from 5 April by then, and the Austin rub could really assist a storyline or two in getting over the top.
The WWE.com writeup states the following:-
"The WWE Universe will be able to recognize the greatness of The Texas Rattlesnake with content, new merchandise and more throughout #316Day. WWE Network will stream a marathon of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin programming, including an all-new episode of “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions” featuring an in-depth interview with WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. #316Day will also feature the release of exclusive Austin 3:16 merchandise will also be available on WWE Shop.com, a special Topps Austin 3:16 digital card set, and custom content across WWE’s global and social media platforms celebrating Austin’s legendary career."
