Sting has stated his desire to wrestle Triple H at WrestleMania, casting doubt on the likelihood of his original hope to wrestle The Undertaker. The former WCW legend was speaking to Brian Fritz of the Orlando Sentinel during SummerSlam weekend. He reiterated that he's got one last match left, which he wants to be under the WWE banner at WrestleMania. Ideally, Sting said he wants The Undertaker. However, with rumours of the Deadman being retired, Sting said he'd be keen for a match against Triple H. He further revealed that both Hunter and Vince have been very welcoming and made him feel comfortable. Basically, those comments sound very much like he's already thinking of himself as a WWE superstar. It sounds like Triple H and Vince feel the same way. What isn't encouraging is Sting's comments in regards to his Undertaker hopes. By even floating the Triple H match idea, it sounds as if there's major doubt on Undertaker's future viability. If Undertaker was fit, Sting would never have brought this up. Internally, the WWE must genuinely have no idea if The Deadman will ever be working again. All won't be lost if Undertaker is indeed done. Sting vs Triple H would actually be a better match. The Game can still put on a top class contest, he'd be able to bring the very best out of Sting. It would also fit quite nicely for Sting's WWE debut to be that of a crusader against the heel authority. If Sting vs Triple H is indeed going to headline WrestleMania 31, we expect it'd be an enjoyable feud with a quality match as its conclusion.
