All Elite Wrestling newcomer Sting is already proving himself a big merchandise shifter for the company and Pro Wrestling Tees, whose 24-hour sales record was broken when the wrestling legend's first design hit their store shortly after his Winter Is Coming debut.

This Wednesday saw Sting join AEW's growing roster of legends in signing with the promotion on a full-time basis, with his contract revealed in a press release issued after Winter Is Coming. 'The Icon' is currently being advertised for a talking segment on next week's episode of Dynamite.

The big debut went down after Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin had defeated Team Taz's Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs in a tag team bout. The heels (bolstered by Brian Cage) beat the babyfaces down afterwards, and were stood over Rhodes' fallen body like vultures. Cue: the lights cutting, wintery images flashing across the big screen, and Sting's grand entrance, with Tony Schiavone losing his mind on commentary.

It was one of the most impactful wrestling moments of the year, Empty Arena Era or otherwise.
