AEW's The Young Bucks made their very last independent appearance at House of Glory's High Intensity 8 last night, and the pair had a special announcement in store for fans in attendance at New York's NYC Arena.
After besting Private Party in the night's main event, Matt and Nick told fans this was goodbye - but that it wouldn't be the last time they'd meet Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy: On the second episode of AEW on TNT this October, the two teams will face in the opening match of the tournament to crown the promotion's inaugural tag team champions.
The 9 October show emanates from Boston, MA.
The nascent company's big jump onto network television commences on 2 October, with The Bucks already scheduled to partner with Kenny Omega to take on Chris Jericho and two as-yet unnamed opponents. Elsewhere on the show, Sami Guevara collides with Cody, and Jon Moxley is penciled in for an appearance.
