The Real Reason Kylie Rae Left AEW Finally Revealed
What led to Kylie Rae walking away from the opportunity of a lifetime in AEW?
Kylie Rae has finally spoken out on her mysterious departure from All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, shooting down swirling rumours that somebody within the promotion forced her to leave.
'Smiley Kylie' posted a lengthy Instagram update this weekend, saying she was grateful for the opportunities that AEW presented to her, but claimed she had to leave to "get [her] mind, body, and soul right with God."

AEW President Tony Khan confirmed Rae's shock release to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp during his post-All Out media scrum on 31 August. It came as a huge surprise, given that the talented Rae was presumed to be an important building block in AEW's women's division and while Khan called the split "amicable," its ambiguous nature led to mass speculation.
No journalist pushed harder for information than Sapp over the coming weeks and months, though nothing was forthcoming, despite rumour-mongers stoking the fire by claiming there was more to the start than meets the eye. Now, finally, Rae has cleared it up.
Last week saw Brandi Rhodes dismiss the notion that Kylie was bullied out of AEW.
Rae returned to wrestling for her old home promotion, Freelance, after a three-month break in September, and has since made further appearances for Impact and Joey Ryan's Bar Wrestling.
