The tag team formerly known as The Revival could make the National Wrestling Alliance their first stop-off point after scoring their WWE releases earlier this month.

Cash Wheeler (formerly Dash Wilder) posted the following to Twitter last night, hinting at participation in the company's upcoming Crockett Cup show:-

And it looks like top NWA brass is open to the idea:-

The 2020 Crockett Cup was supposed to go down in College Park, Georgia on 19 April, but was cancelled due to the ongoing global health crisis. Confirmed teams included Mexa Squad (Flamita and Rey Horus), the legendary Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson), Villain Enterprises (Brody King and Flip Gordon), and The Wild Cards (Thomas Latimer and Royce Isaacs).

It's easy to see why The Revival (Revolt?) would be attracted to the NWA's retro-centric product. Their style would fit Billy Corgan and Dave Lagana's rebuilt brand like a glove, though everything remains complicated by what's currently going on around the world.

Finding work won't be easy for any recently-released WWE wrestler at the moment, though Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood won't be short of suitors once promotions are in a position to make signings again.
