The Rock Shares The First Image From Fast & Furious Spin-Off

It might have a terrible name at the moment, but it's likely that the Fast & Furious spin-off, Hobbs And Shaw is going to do big business. It has that film brand behind it for a start, but more crucially it has the presence and social media power of The Rock in its arsenal too, which should ensure lots of eyes on its marketing materials.
Dwayne Johnson will star opposite Jason Statham in the forthcoming spin-off that sees old enemies Agent Hobbs and former assassin Deckard Shaw team up for some sort of mission that clearly requires a high bald to attitude ratio.
Filming is now underway and The Rock has shared the first image from it, all grey and moody and furtive. His caption offers a potted history of their dynamic:
"We either gonna get along or we gonna get it on."
Presumably that last bit means fighting, as opposed to anything romantic.
The film is being written by Chris Morgan, who's worked on lots of Fast & Furious movies and will be directed by David Leitch, who previously took on John Wick and Deadpool 2. That guy knows violence, so we can probably depend on something big going down. Meanwhile, Idris Elba is in as the villain and Vanessa Kirby has been cast too - so a good cast all round.
Hobbs And Shaw is set for release on Aug 2nd, 2019.
